Hi ladies and gentleman it has been a while since we have had a conversation, I'm back now, hope your week so far has been great, even though mine has been hectic a lot . I will be short like a mini skirt because it can cover all the assets . The topic which I would love us to discuss its the one of the Nigerian girls who went missing at their boarding school while you raise your views how you feel about this matter .
The tragedy which is caused by the Boko Haram Militants at Nigerian
It has been month now about 276 Nigerian girls went missing from their boarding school during night fall. Chibok has become the town that never sleeps for the mothers of those missing girls, from this dusty land of Northern Nigerian town. The girls where abducted by Boko Haram Militants where there is a possibility that they wont come back alive in one peace. The chibok people are all leaving in unpleasant conditions, very poor, down to earth people with very little money to survive.
Social media has proven to be playing a vital role in this whole situation because the videos which where published on You-tube went viral. Social media campaign called #bringbackourgirls which is aimed to the Nigerian Government into action by highlighting the plight of the girls for more information visit this website http://goo.gl/SqRVDa

Many people were touched by this story where social media played a vital role to publish their # tag messages acrose the world even the first lady Michelle Obama was touched about this matter where she also published her picture to , on the other hand Nigeria capital city Abuja also started a campaign were they wear red t-shirts and #releaseourgirls.
Now the big question which we must ask our selves as the nation will the girls come back in one peace which is all what we hoping for, and as we are the nation will continue to #tag the campaigns.

I would like to know matilda, why did the boko haram kidnap the innocent soles of these young ladys, I mean what ever It was that happened to them, it still does not give them the right to take away school pupils. what is their future standing now, ducational wise? I have not been following this story.
ReplyDeleteSince 2009, the Islamic terror group Boko Haram, which violently opposes Western-style education, has created a campaign of bombings and mass killings across northeast Nigeria. They have claimed responsibility for abducting about 276 teenage schoolgirls from Chibok Nigeria, their education now its not looking because now Boko Haram is terrorising the Government , police and many more

ReplyDeleteWe should continue to follow the campaigns and putting the Government of Nigerian under pressure to make sure that they do everything in their power to help free the girls
DeleteBoko Haram must bring the girls back home safe and stop treating women like objects
